A better if unecessary sequel
While being a huge improvement doesn’t justify the making of this sequel, a better story, more humor, and a decent 3D conversion make the swordplay spectacle more tolerable. And hey, 2 Oscar winners play Greek gods! Which of course begs the question why do the Greeks in the movies always have British accents?
Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of fantasy violence and action.
