Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride

While not as groundbreaking or thematically complex as “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Burton’s latest stop-motion animated film has moments of brilliance and a wonderfully sweet tone. Never have so many skeletons been so jolly as Victor (voiced by Johnny Depp), tries to undo his accidental marriage to a dead suitor while pursuing the hand of a living intended. Rated PG but rarely scary or macabre.
