An Inconvenient Truth

Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”

The truth is, if the former Veep had exuded the kind of folksy charm and jovial confidence he does in his Global Warming presentation he’d have beaten Bush in 2000. His arguments involving CO2 increases, glacier melting, and caring for Mother Earth are captivating and thought-provoking, despite his tendencies toward self-indulgence, taking political potshots and applying half-truth cataclysmic hyperbole. Yes there ARE, in fact, scientists who disagree. (Google and you will find plenty.) Controversy isn’t always a bad thing, and Mr. Freeze’s surprising warmth ignites a worthy discussion.
