Corrupt cops, steamy Chinese restaurants

A burned out, beer bellied, and ready to retire NYPD detective (Bruce Willis) has to transport motormouth petty criminal and potential snitch (Mos Def) across town to the courthouse. Corrupt cops, steamy Chinese restaurants, and Manhattan’s labyrinthine streets all provide obstacles in this occasionally formulaic, but mostly well done “Die Hard”-lite diversion.
